These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Taupo Cupcakes website and our products. By purchasing from us, you agree to the following terms.
Pricing

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD).

Prices may change without notice.
Ordering
-
A minimum of 18 hours notice is required for standard cupcake orders, subject to availability. Cakes require a minimum of 4 days notice.

Last-minute orders may be accepted at our discretion.

All online orders must be paid in full at the time of ordering.
-
Orders placed via Phone, Email, Message or Facebook must be paid in full before collection or delivery.
-
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, and bank transfers. (Credit card payment is only available via website ordering)
Refunds & Returns
-
Customers are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund only if a product is not of acceptable quality due to damage or defect. As these products are custom-made, refunds or replacements are granted at our discretion.

We are not responsible for damage that occurs after pickup or delivery.
-
Orders are created with the highest care. Once an order is received, the customer accepts responsibility for transport and handling.

If an order is not collected at the scheduled time, no refund will be provided.
-
No refunds will be given for dissatisfaction with decorating style, colour, or general design.
-
Refunds for quality concerns are at our discretion and require the return of the product in its original condition.

No refund will be given for consumed products.

Customers must notify us within 24 hours of receiving their order if there is an issue with the product.
Delivery Policy

We offer a delivery service to ensure products arrive in their intended condition.
-
If damage occurs in transit with our delivery service, we will repair or replace the product.
-
Delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to factors outside our control (e.g., traffic).

An authorized person must be available to receive the order.
-
If no one is available to receive the delivery, the courier may leave the product in a safe location. If this is not possible, the order will be returned to Taupo Cupcakes at the customer's expense.

We are not responsible for product condition after delivery.

Delivery times agreed on the website are an approximation and may vary; however, we will strive to deliver as close to the selected time as possible.
Delivery Fees

Taupo CBD: $7

Taupo Surrounding Suburbs: $15

Taupo Rural Inc. Wairakei: $20

Taupo Surrounding Areas – Kinloch, Hatepe Oruanui etc: $45
-
Rotorua/Turangi: $70 – Deliveries to these areas are not always available.

Deliveries are made during business hours (9.30 AM – 2.30 PM) by Taupo Cupcakes.
Pick-Ups
-
Orders can be collected from Taupo Cupcakes during business hours (9.30 AM – 2.30 PM).
-
Pickup outside these hours is by prior arrangement only.
-
If a customer cannot collect an order at the agreed time, they must notify us as soon as possible to arrange an alternative.
-
Orders not collected or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.
Dietary Disclaimer & Allergies

We offer flavours that do not contain gluten, or nuts as direct ingredients, but our kitchen handles these allergens.
-
There may be traces of wheat gluten, nuts, eggs, milk, and other allergens in our products.
-
We do not offer sugar, dairy or egg free alternatives as these are main ingredients in our recipes.
-
Customers with severe allergies should be informed that trace element may be present.

We are not responsible for allergic reactions caused by our products.
Artistic License

Customers may request specific decorative details, but all cakes and cupcakes are subject to the artistic expression of Taupo Cupcakes.

No two handmade products will be exactly the same.
-
Garnishes and decorations may change without notice based on availability.
-
If a specific styling element is unavailable, we will substitute it with a similar decoration.
-
No refunds will be provided for slight variations in appearance.
Privacy Policy

We collect and store personal information such as names, emails, passwords, payment details, and purchase history.

We may use tracking tools to monitor site interactions and improve our services.

Data is stored securely via Wix.com, which provides our online platform and payment processing.

We may contact customers regarding their orders, promotions, or customer service matters.

Force Majeure

Taupo Cupcakes is not liable for failure to fulfil orders due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, supplier shortages, or accidents.

If such an event occurs, we will notify customers as soon as possible and offer alternatives where feasible.
